Cristiano Ronaldo gave some words of advice to Portugal goalkeeper Diogo Costa before he saved Denmark star Christian Eriksen's penalty.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Just before Eriksen stepped up to take his penalty, Al-Nassr star Ronaldo had a lengthy chat with FC Porto keeper Costa. It is not known what was said but it may have helped as the Danish midfielder's spot-kick was superbly saved by the 25-year-old in the first leg of their Nations League quarter-final.

That save could potentially be the difference between Portugal reaching the semi-finals of the competition and falling in the last eight. Costa has a history of penalty saves and he showed off his quality once again on Thursday.
